The Beginning

The Professional Couriers traces its beginnings to 1987 when Directors of the Company felt the need for a Courier Service to meet the needs of growing and challenging business avenues in the country. They sensed a requirement for a service that could conveniently provide the masses with means for sending and receiving their consignments.

In line with this, The Professional Couriers (TPC) was conceived and was incorporated on November 1, 1987. During this time, large-scale courier service was practically non-existent. Therefore, the eight directors came together to pioneer a new path for their organization from scratch. They embarked on a journey to establish an organization on the key pillars of the customer and employee-centric approach, focusing on ethics and excellence.

Growth Timeline

In 1999, TPC launched its International Subsidiary Company - M/s The Professional international Couriers Pvt. Ltd. and opened its International Operations Hub at all Metro Cities - Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata & Mumbai. It also established Business Associates in Dubai & Singapore, providing services in 195 countries.

In 2007, the group founded The Professional Couriers Network Ltd. (PCNL) to consolidate its operations base across North, East and Central India. We focused on strengthening our network of franchisees and establishing our own offices and hubs. This enabled us to reach every nook and corner of the country and serve customers pan-India.
